CONSTRUCTION UPDATE
LEARNING AS A COMMUNITY
A new 193,000 SF high school in eastern Collin County, for 800 students in grades 9-12, consists of three sections, each running east-west for optimum solar orientation—a Main Entrance and Academic wing, a Fine Arts and Food Service wing, and an Athletics wing. Large outdoor learning spaces between the wings. Classrooms are clustered into smaller learning communities. The project includes an 800-seat auditorium. Opened Fall 2020. An expansion of 8 classrooms is to be completed in 2021.
