February Construction Update

Baird ISD’s new Welding Academy opens in the Fall of 2022. It will be the only public ISD-operated AWS-certified welding facility in Texas west of Fort Worth. The 7,500 facility will include virtual trainers, a classroom, office, secure storage, 10 welding booths, and a flexible metalworking shop. This project also includes a 1,500 SF covered patio for outside learning and a secure metal storage area.
